Hotel Policies & Fee

• Guests must have at least one adult aged 18 or older registered to each room.
• All guests staying at the hotel must show their government issued ids.
• Check-in time is anytime after 3 pm. Early check-in request will be subject to availability of room and of additional charge of $25+tax. Our Concierge Desk will be happy to store luggage until the room is ready to be occupied.
• Check-out time is 11 am. Late check-out requests will be accommodated where possible at an additional charges of $25+tax until 2:00pm only.
• Extra Person Charge – All room rates are based on single or double occupancy. An additional charge of:
  • $10.00 per person per night plus taxes will apply for other adult guests over 2.
  • Children age 0 – 5 years no charges per night
  • Children between age 6 –  10 years at $5 per night
  • Children over 10 years at $10 per night
• Visitors are not allowed in the rooms, visitors can only meet the guests in the common lobby area.
• Rollaway Beds & Playpens – Rollaways are $10.00 per night plus taxes. Playpens are FREE; supply is limited.
• Parking – self-parking is FREE on our hotel property.
• WIFI – Complimentary high-speed WiFi is available in guest rooms and common areas.
• Specific Room Requests – We will do our best to hold specific room numbers or room locations, although we cannot guarantee as unforeseen circumstances can occur.
• Pets are welcome at the Divya Sutra Plaza and Conference Centre Calgary Airport. Guests traveling with pets (max weight 25 lb per pet and max 2 pets) must book a designated pet-friendly room and are subject to an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night payable at the time of check-in.
• Fee is exempt for service pets.
• Pets must be kept in control at all times and must not be left unattended in guest rooms. Any restitution provided to other guests for complaints due to noise from pets will be charged to the pet owner accordingly.
• Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture.
• Pets are not permitted in the pool area or fitness room.
• Owners must pick up after their pets. There is a designated disposal site in the green space area. Disposal bags can be requested at the Front Desk
• Smoking Policy – the Divya Sutra Plaza and Conference Centre Calgary Airport is proud to provide a 100% Smoke-Free Environment for our Guests & Staff. An additional $250.00 cleaning fee will be levied for smoking in guest rooms, patios or balconies. There are designated Smoking Areas outside of the Hotel.
• Damage/Theft – we reserve the right to charge guests the cost of Theft of hotel property and/or rectifying damage caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the Guests to the Hotel’s property or structure. Should this Theft or damage come to light after the Guest’s departure, we reserve the right to charge the Guest’s credit/debit card or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.

Payment Policy / Deposit Information

• A valid credit card is required at the time of booking. If a credit card is not available, your reservation will only be held for a minimal time period and will be subject to release.
• Divya Sutra Plaza and Conference Centre Calgary Airport accepts all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Cash and Interac payments are accepted at check-out, but a Credit card pre-authorization is still required at check-in. Personal cheques will not be accepted unless prior approval is obtained from our Accounting Department
• Valid photo ID for all guests is required for the check-in process.
• A $50 pre-authorization will be taken at the time of check-in only via Credit Card to cover any incidentals that may occur during the Guest’s stay.

Cancelation Policy

• Guaranteed reservations at the Divya Sutra Plaza and Conference Centre Calgary Airport must be canceled by 2:00 pm on the day of arrival to avoid cancellation penalties if you have booked from Hotel’s Official website.
• Groups and Conference reservations are subject to the cancellation and deposit policies outlined in the Group Confirmation at the time of booking and may vary from standard hotel policies.

Taxes

• Hotel stays at the Divya Sutra Plaza and Conference Centre Calgary Airport are subject to applicable taxes totaling 9%. Taxes are comprised of 5% Goods & Services Tax (GST), and 4% Municipal Regional & District Tax (MRDT).

Currency Conversions

All rates are confirmed and will be charged in Canadian dollars. As currency exchange rates will fluctuate on a daily basis, the Hotel cannot guarantee a specific rate of exchange.

Extended Stay and Group Rates

Long Term Stays – Weekly/Monthly (October 1st to May 15th only). The Hotel provides Weekly (min of 5 nights) and monthly (min. 25 nights, max 30 nights). Rates on request from December to May only. Room and taxes must be pre-paid for the entire stay – no refunds for early departures. Maid service is provided once a week. A valid Major Credit Card imprint will be taken and kept on file for any incidentals – charged weekly.

Group Rates – please contact our Group Sales Department when booking a group of 10 rooms or more. When booking multiple rooms online, please indicate “1 of 2, 2 of 2” etc. in the comments section. This will avoid rooms being canceled in error and increase the possibility of your rooms being in the same area of the Hotel.+
